Rural Area - Whole Place Plan
We worked with members of the local rural community council and local communities across the rural area to identify evidence based local priorities and action projects to tackle issues such as littering, flooding, jobs for young people and taking care of green spaces. The community is now much more engaged in addressing local issues using “Time Credits” as means to encourage more volunteering. The adoption of the Whole Place Plan in 2015 means the council has fulfilled its duty under the Well Being of Future Generations Act two years ahead of schedule.
